At Mrežnica river you have a unique chance in enjoying the numerous waterfalls and travertine barriers of these river.
The section we are crossing is only half an hour from the center of Karlovac. This town is known as crossroads of all roads from the time of Rome to today and the city where the famous Nikola Tesla graduated from high school.
The river Mrežnica is clean, calm, warm and great for swimming, and it flows through untouched nature with diverse vegetation and animal species.
Because of these qualities, the Mrežnica river is the right choice for excursions and holidays.
Although we are on the section between Generalski Stol and Zvečaj near civilization, we are still sailing through the wilderness. Wild water is cold, and most often the temperature ranges between 2 and 6 degrees Celsius.
The program consists of a fun ride, rowing, swimming and overcoming waterfalls, and at the same time it is educational.
From experienced guides, you can learn all the interesting facts, legends and customs of this region, about various animal species, vegetation, as well as survival techniques in nature.
Excursion program: We meet at 10:00 a.m. at the Zeleni kut restaurant (Zvečaj 109), and after refreshments and coffee, we head to the starting point in Generalski stol. We start by paddling upstream to a place where it is possible to jump from the waterfall and swim. After that, we head downstream and cross a dozen waterfalls. We end up in Zvečaj on the meadow of the famous swimming pool. There is also a restaurant with excellent local food.

The offer includes: Rafting in professional boats with the professional guidance of licensed skippers and all the necessary equipment (neoprene suit in case of colder weather, helmet, safety vest for water, water bottles and paddle), accident insurance, photos and video materials with go-pro cameras. We send photos and videomaterial by e-mail after the trip.
Notes:
For rafting, we recommend bringing swimsuit, towel, dry clothes, bottle of water, sunscreen. We recommend not to carry a mobile phone, watch, valuables and jewelry in the water. If you wear glasses, fasten them with a lace.
Equipment: Gumotex Pulsar professional rafting boats with a capacity of up to 8 people, very stable and easy to use. There is a watertight barrel in the boat. In addition to large boats, we also use the Gumotex Orinoco for two adults, also very stable and easy to use.
