A three-day urban adventure that will reveal all the beauties of Karlovac

Whether you’re looking for a vacation, an adventure, or just want to get away from everyday life for a while, a visit to Karlovac is always a good idea. This city, known as a meeting place, is ideal for spending a day in nature, and we also organize a tour of cultural and historical sights for you.

Like an uncut diamond in the very center of Croatia, at the junction of the Pannonian and Dinaric plates, on 4 rivers in the urban jungle, a city with its green surroundings is hidden.

The city of parks, promenades and historical buildings preserves numerous legends and stories.

The crossroads of all roads from prehistoric times to the present day offers its visitors unforgettable moments in which all the senses enjoy.

We will organize for you an interesting visit to the interactive Museum of the Homeland War, where you will be able to find out unknown details about the war in the Karlovac area, as well as view the remains of weapons.

Notes: organization of transportation is also possible for larger groups at an additional cost (bus, minibus). Beverage consumption during organized lunches is not included in the price. Day 1The group's arrival in Karlovac

Arrival of the group in Karlovac, check-in at one of the Karlovac hotels, hostels or private accommodation depending on the wishes and requirements of the group. Accommodation includes an overnight stay with half board (breakfast, dinner).

On the first day of our adventure, we have prepared a relaxing ride on the replica of the Zora grain boat along the Kupa river. In addition to enjoying the beautiful nature and the river, you have the opportunity to learn interesting details about its inhabitants, as well as the rich history of the area we are driving through.

The rest of the day is reserved for free activities.

Day 2Organized departure of the group to visit the Museum of the Homeland War

Breakfast, organized departure of the group to visit the Museum of the Homeland War in Turnje for about 1 hour. The museum was recently opened and leaves a very strong impression on visitors, even those who do not have much prior knowledge of the war horrors that befell this region. The museum is very interactive with a lot of visual and auditory effects, real war footage, war exhibits and equipment, all in the original building from that era with the significant name Hotel California.

After visiting the Museum, there will be a short break of about 15 minutes for coffee or a quick meal. After that, we descend a few meters down to the shore of the mouth of the Mrežnica river in Koran – the place where our urban river adventure begins.

Safari rafting through Karlovac is ideal for family trips or team building programs. Riding the river in rafts through the very center of the city is something that cannot be experienced anywhere.

This tour has been awarded by the Ministry of Tourism for two years in a row, for innovation and contribution to tourism.

In addition to crossing two waterfalls, during the tour guests have the opportunity to see the mouths of the Karlovac rivers, the only registered city swimming spot in Croatia is called “Fogin’s swimming spot”, and the bravest can taste the charms of a 10-meter diving board. The drive lasts 2-2.5 hours, after which we have lunch in one of the restaurants in Karlovac.

Afternoon and evening hours are reserved for free activities, followed by dinner and overnight stay. If the group wishes, it is possible to organize an outing (e.g. bowling, karaoke evening, etc.) with prior agreement.

Day 3Breakfast and check out from the accommodation.

On the last day of this urban adventure, we have prepared a relaxing guided tour of Karlovac’s sights with the guidance of an interpretive guide.

On our tour, we visit several phenomena that testify to the historical and traffic importance of the city from the time of the Roman era until today. Some of them are the Miljokaz monument, the Promenade promenade, numerous ditches located in the very center, the famous Karlovac six-pointed Star, etc.
