Nikola Tesla Experience Center Karlovac is a unique center dedicated to the genius of electricity. The educational-tourist complex is located at Rakovac 6 in Karlovac, right next to the school where young Nikola graduated in 1873. With its 700 square meters of space spread over three floors, it is a place where technology meets visions. The center was opened on May 8, 2023.
What to expect?
A special, modern, and interactive center that will activate all your senses. You will meet Tesla’s superjumps, a 10-meter-high statue into which Tesla’s coil is embedded, which you can touch and feel the magic of electricity. You will see levitating tablets that will test your patience, but also your knowledge of Tesla in our chill-out zone. Through feature films, you will learn more about Tesla’s childhood in the small Lika town of Smiljan and his growing up and schooling in Karlovac, while watching animated films you will get to know Nikola Tesla’s personality better, his fears, passions, and “superpowers.” The youngest visitors will be delighted by various logic games they can try out, while fans of Tesla’s character and work will find their place and learn more about lesser-known facts about the scientist.

– The guided tour of the center lasts from 45 minutes to 1 hour – a professional guide is mandatory
– No prior announcement is required for individual visitors and families
– Individual visitors get a tablet for self-guided exploration of the center in 5 languages – Croatian, English, German, French, and Italian. (included in the price)
