What is a Gyrocopter and what is it for?
Gyricopter in Croatian translation Gyrocopter is a “mix” of an airplane and a helicopter. When driving on the ground and taking off, it has the characteristics of an airplane, and in flight it has the characteristics and performance of a helicopter!
Gyrocopter control is achieved by tilting the rotor in the desired direction.
The rotor is not driven by an engine like in a helicopter, but is driven by the flow of air that passes through the rotor blades (auto rotation / rotation only). The engine drives the propeller which creates forward thrust.
The rotor of the gyrocopter is driven by the wind current, there are only low mechanical stresses. There are no expensive transmissions/gears, and the risk of technical failures is much lower on the rotor system, which means greater safety. Gyrocopters do not have minimum speeds, so they do not have any stalling characteristics.
Gyrocopter is not particularly sensitive to turbulence because the tips of the rotors move at a speed of 700 km/h through the air and are not bothered by wind gusts of 70 km/h.
For this reason, even in difficult weather conditions, it is safe to sail with the Gyrocopter.

The departure point is from Lučko airport, the flight takes you to the center of Zagreb and back to Lučko airport. The second point of departure is the Buševec airport, flying over Buševec, Velika Gorica and the surrounding area.

One introductory flight (tour) begins in time from the start of the engine and includes takeoff, flight and landing.
The average speed at which we fly is 120 km/h and we fly at 1000 f, 330 meters above the ground.
